This video demonstrates the performance of the KAM Tact SP035 Eyeshield when exposed to high‑velocity 9mm fragmentation in a controlled test environment. A 9mm round strikes a steel surface, generating secondary fragments that impact the SP035 at significant speed. The lens flexes under the sudden force but maintains its structural integrity, showcasing the SP035’s impact‑resistant design and its ability to manage unexpected fragmentation events.

KAMTact ballistic armor plate test
A developmental KAMTact ballistic armor plate is positioned in front of a pumpkin fitted with KAMTact eye protection to simulate a face‑level impact scenario. Multiple 9mm FMJ rounds are fired directly into the plate at close range. Despite repeated impacts, the plate shows no penetration, and the pumpkin—and the eyepro behind it—remain fully protected. This controlled test highlights the engineering direction and protective potential of KAMTact’s ballistic research.
